International and Japanese students enjoyed a day together in Nara as part of the Institute Of International Education’s annual bus tour.
The tour aims to encourage cultural exchange between our Japanese and foreign students, deepening and developing a mutual understanding of Japanese and foreign cultures.
This year's destination was Nara Prefecture, where the famed Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Shrine can be found. The first stop was Kasuga Shrine, where students enjoyed a leisurely stroll and lunch. After lunch, the group went to Todaiji Temple, followed by some souvenir shopping.
A total of 32 people participated, enjoying not just beautiful weather but road trip games and excellent company! It was a great trip.
To everyone who participated, cheers!
(A big thanks to the IIE's Akemi for assisting the students on the day!)
