Cookies! COOOOOKKIEEEESSS!

On Thursday, October 31st, students headed to the Itami Campus International Exchange Center Lounge to attend the tenth consecutive lunchtime Halloween event. The occasion aimed to encourage students to utilize the lounge and create opportunities for them to meet others in a relaxed environment outside of the classroom.

Colorful decorations and upbeat music set the tone for a time of decorating Halloween cookies, engaging in conversation, and language exchange with several teachers who came to have fun and assist. As always, it was a diverse group of people who could come together to create community and new bonds. Foreign exchange students mixed with their Japanese counterparts, teachers joked with students, and anyone who came alone was quickly absorbed into an inclusive, casual environment.

The event was sponsored by the Otemae University International Exchange Center.
