Call for Papers: Otemae University Journal of Research and Pedagogy Volume 7
IIECall for Papers: Otemae University Journal of Research and Pedagogy Volume 7
Submission Deadline: November 30, 2020
Published by the Institute for International
Education (IIE) at Otemae University
You are invited to contribute to
the annual, peer-reviewed collection of research and pedagogy papers published
by Otemae University. While in previous years we have published selected papers
from an annual conference hosted at Otemae University, due to the COVID-19
pandemic, this event has been cancelled. In its stead, we welcome papers in
English or Japanese on all aspects of language education, cultural studies, or
critical engagements with social issues. This year, we in particular welcome
papers that address aspects of the many challenges humanity is presently
facing, from bringing social justice issues into the classroom, to how
education is adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To submit your paper to this
volume, e-mail it to iie.info@otemae.ac.jp. Please be sure to
include your title, abstract, and bio data. Papers should be between 2500 and
4000 words, and within 20 pages (including bibliography and appendixes).
The
journal follows the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) formatting
Postconference Publication guidelines, which are based on the Publication
Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition. See this
link https://jalt-publications.org/proceedings/guidelines and
the docx or pdf on the page.
All
papers must be submitted by November 30, 2020. Peer review will begin promptly
after this date. Submissions after that date will not be considered.
If you have any questions,
please contact the editorial team at iie.info@otemae.ac.jp.
