【国際看護研究所】マホソット病院（ラオス）で行われた救急蘇生研修に参加／Emergency resuscitation training conducted at Mahosot Hospital in Laos

8月29日、西村直子教授と嶋澤恭子教授が、ラオスのマホソット病院で実施された救急蘇生研修に参加しました。
この研修は今回が2回目の開催で、昨年より西村教授がJBI認定のトレーナーとして継続支援している「JBIエビデンス実践研修」の一貫として運営され、22名の医師と39名の看護師が対象でした。

開始の挨拶では、西村教授がエビデンスを活用して臨床で質改善を実施する意義について述べ、マホソット病院長からも開催に向けた挨拶がありました。

研修は、午前中に救急蘇生の際のチームコミュニケーション、BLS（ベーシックライフサポート）、ACLS（二次救命）についての講義が行われ、午後には演習を行い、１日かけた研修でした。

参加者からは、「新しいことを知ることができ今後も継続して研修を行いたい」とフィードバックがありました。医師や看護師が参加する多職種での研修や、ICUと救急外来といった異なる病棟のスタッフが一緒に参加する研修は珍しく、大変良かったと好評でした。また、経験年数の異なる看護師同士でコミュケーションができたことも刺激になったようです。

On August 29th, Professor Nishimura and Professor Shimazawa participated.
This training is part of the JBI Evidence Implementation Training Program, which Professor Nishimura has been continuously supporting as a JBI-certified trainer since last year. It targeted 22 physicians and 39 nurses, marking the second session.
Professor Nishimura opened the session with remarks on the significance of implementing quality improvements in clinical practice using evidence, marking the start of the training. Director of Mahosot Hospital also gave opening remarks. The full-day program consisted of lectures in the morning on team communication during emergency resuscitation, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), followed by practical exercises in the afternoon. Participants provided feedback stating they learned new things and wished to continue such training in the future.
The training was highly praised as a valuable opportunity, as multi-disciplinary training involving doctors and nurses, and training bringing together staff from different units like the ICU and emergency department, is apparently not commonly held. Participants also found it stimulating to communicate with nurses of varying years of experience.
